Shivam Granite

Our place is at Plot No. 137 in the GIDC area of Ranasan Village. If you know where the Vijapur Taluka is, we are right around there in the Mahesana District. Most people find us because we are quite close to Shri Swami Vivekanand Vidyalay. It is a busy spot. We spend most of the morning just moving granite slabs around. It gets quite dusty here, especially when the wind picks up across the yard. We aren't doing anything fancy, just keeping the stock organized and helping people look at the different stones. The slabs at Shivam Granite are heavy, so we spend a lot of time with the machinery or just lifting things. Sometimes the traffic near the school gets a bit much, but mostly it's just a regular workday for us. We have been in this spot for a while now. The GIDC area has a lot going on, so there is always noise from other workshops too. We just focus on our own work. Usually, we are out here from early morning until the sun starts to go down. It's a lot of manual work, and our clothes usually end up covered in stone dust by lunch. We don’t have a big fancy showroom, just the granite out in the open where you can see the real color and how it looks in the daylight. We just keep things moving and try to stay busy. It’s a simple life and we like being part of the local community here.
