Sakar Industries

Sakar Industries is located at Plot 182 and 183 in Ranasan GIDC. It’s an industrial area, so there are factories all around us. We’ve been here since the plot was first assigned. The building is a simple concrete structure. We do a lot of manufacturing work here. It gets pretty hot during the afternoon shift, so we have big fans running everywhere. There’s usually a lot of metal clanking and machines humming in the background. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for years. We aren't big on corporate meetings or fancy talk. We just show up, get the machines started, and do the work. The office is just a corner partitioned off with some glass. It’s usually filled with blueprints and spare parts. Finding the plot isn't hard once you enter the GIDC gates. We share the road with a lot of heavy trucks. Sometimes the water supply is a bit patchy, but we make do with the tanks. We spend most of our time on the shop floor rather than behind a desk. It’s a gritty job, but it’s ours. We just keep our heads down and focus on the production schedule. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves. That’s how we’ve always operated here in Ranasan. It’s a noisy place, but it’s where we feel most productive during the day. We usually grab snacks from the local canteen during our break.
