Sharma Trading Co.

Located at Pichla Mandi Gate in Ganj Basoda, Sharma Trading Co. is where we spend our days. The mandi gate is always a busy place with people coming and going. We handle a lot of different goods and it depends on the season what is filling up the space. Our shop is simple and we don’t have much in the way of decoration. There are ledgers on the table and stacks of crates everywhere you look. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of noise from the market outside. We have to keep track of what comes in and what goes out to the different buyers. It is a bit dusty because of all the trucks moving around the gate area. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure things are where they need to be. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but we find our way through it. Ganj Basoda is a place where everyone knows each other, so we see the same faces every day. We don't have a website or anything like that, just this physical spot by the gate. We stay open late if there is a big delivery arriving. Dealing with traders means you have to be ready to talk and negotiate all day long. It can be exhausting but it is the life we chose. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day to make things work out.
