Sati Polytechnic College

Our place is located right on NH 86 in the Civil Line area of Vidisha. Being Sati Polytechnic College, we see a lot of students coming through these doors every single year. The 464001 area is quite active, and since we are near the highway, there is always some noise of traffic passing by while the classes are going on. We have several labs and workshops where people spend most of their time working on machines or drawing up plans. It is not a very quiet place, especially when the practical exams are coming up and everyone is rushing around. Most of the staff members have been living in Vidisha for a long time, so we are used to how things work here. The buildings have seen a lot of students come and go over the seasons. We just keep the doors open and make sure the equipment is working well enough for the next group to use. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of being in this part of town. Students usually hang out near the entrance or by the main road during their lunch hour. It is a straightforward kind of place where technical stuff is the main focus. We don't do anything flashy, just the daily teaching and making sure the syllabus is finished before the year ends.
