Sanchi Engineering

Sanchi Engineering is located right on the Main Road near Hari Phatak in Vidisha. It’s a very central spot, so we see a lot of people passing by every single day. The traffic can be a bit much, especially during the middle of the day, but it means we’re easy to find. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. The workshop is usually a bit dusty because of all the work going on, but that’s just how an engineering place should be. We handle various mechanical and structural tasks. It’s a lot of hands-on labor. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years, so we’ve grown into a tight group. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. If someone needs something fixed or fabricated, they just walk in and talk to us. We’ve got some old machines that still run better than the new ones, and we take care of them. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, though it gets hectic when a big order comes in. We usually have the radio playing in the background over the sound of the tools. Vidisha is a place where people appreciate hard work, and that’s what we try to provide. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain conversation about what needs to be done. We close up when the sun goes down and start all over again tomorrow.
