Praveen Industries

We are located right on Station Road over in Liladhar Mandi, Ganj Basoda. Being near the mandi means there is always a lot of noise and activity, especially during the harvest seasons. You can hear the tractors and the shouting from the market all day long. Praveen Industries is just a regular shop where we handle various industrial tasks. The building is an old one, with high ceilings and some rust on the shutters. We spend our time working on whatever comes through the door. It is a lot of metalwork and fixing things that people bring from their farms or small shops. The district of Vidisha is quite hot in the summer, so we try to get the heavy work done before noon. Our shop is easy to spot because of all the scrap and parts sitting out front. It’s not the cleanest place, but we know where every wrench and bolt is kept. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here by the station road. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the neighbors while we work. It is a slow life in some ways, but we stay busy enough to keep the lights on. It’s just honest work in a busy part of town. When the sun goes down, the mandi slows down, and we finally head home to get some rest. There's always more to do tomorrow.
