You can find Dog Doer Clinic Kennel & Shopie right on the Main Road in Durga Nagar. We do a bit of everything here, which keeps us really busy. We have the clinic for when dogs are sick, the kennel for when people go out of town, and the little shopie for supplies. It is a lot to manage, and honestly, it can get pretty loud with the boarding dogs barking at each other. The Main Road location is convenient for people driving through Durga Nagar, but it does mean it gets a bit dusty inside from the traffic. We do not have some polished corporate image; we are just people who spend all day around dogs. The kennel takes up a lot of our energy because those dogs need feeding and exercise throughout the day. Then we have people popping into the shop for a toy or some shampoo. It is a bit of a juggle. Some days the floor is a mess of dog hair and muddy prints, but we clean it up as best as we can between appointments. We have been here in Durga Nagar long enough that we have seen puppies grow into old dogs and then seen those same families bring in new pets. It is hard work, and there are no shortcuts when you are looking after animals. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep everyone’s pets healthy and fed. It is a lot of noise and work, but we like it.
