A. L. Industries

Out here at Plot No. Sc-1/48 in the Verna Industrial Estate it is mostly about the work and the noise of the machines. A. L. Industries has been operating in Salcete for some time now. We are surrounded by other big buildings and trucks constantly moving in and out of the estate. It can be a bit hard to find us if you aren't looking for the plot number specifically. Inside the workshop it is usually quite busy with the guys handling the metal and the tools. We don't spend much time on office work because there is always something that needs fixing or a batch of parts that needs to be finished. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it is burning hot outside. We eat our lunch together in the small break area near the back door. There isn't much to look at around here just more industrial plots and the main road. We keep the inventory stacked against the walls to save space for the work tables. Most of our tools have been with us for years and they still work fine. We don't see many visitors except for the delivery drivers and the occasional inspector. It is a steady way to make a living and we know our way around the estate pretty well by now. Everyone here just focuses on getting the day's tasks finished. We usually turn the lights off around six in the evening.
