Shihori Farm & Agriculture Organic Products

You can find us out in Ukadiya, which is in the Veraval Somnath region. It is a beautiful area, and being close to Somnath means we get a lot of people passing through. We focus on organic products because that is what we know. My grandfather had land here, and we just kept going with it. The farm is where everything happens. We spend most of our time outside in the dirt or checking on the plants. It is hard work and your hands are always dirty, but that is just part of the job. We don't use the big machines or the chemicals that some of the neighbors might use. Everything is done the old way, or at least as close to it as we can manage. When you come visit us in Ukadiya, you'll see that it's a working farm, not a tourist spot. There might be some crates sitting around or a tractor blocking the path. We sell what we grow right here when people stop by. The air is good near the coast, though the salt can be tough on the tools. We don't have a big marketing team. Most people find us through word of mouth or they just see the sign when they are driving toward Veraval. It is a simple life and we like it that way. We just grow things and hope the rain comes when it should. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't, but that is farming for you.
