Our site is out at Plot No. 7/8, Survey No. 211 in the Veraval (Shapar) Industrial Area. Being situated right on the Rajkot-Gondal Highway 8-B means we see a lot of long-distance trucks passing by at all hours of the day. The dust from the highway tends to settle on everything, so we are constantly dusting off the desks and the equipment in the office. Saurashtra Iron Forging Pvt. Ltd. is a busy place, and you can usually hear the sound of work coming from the back area. The office part of the building is separate but it still gets quite warm during the summer months in Gujarat. We have a big water cooler that gets a lot of use by everyone. Our team has been here for years, and many of us come from the nearby parts of Kotdasangani. The commute isn't too bad if you leave at the right time in the morning. We don't have any fancy furniture; most of it is heavy wooden desks and metal chairs that have been around since we first opened. There is a lot of space in the yard for materials, and we spend a fair amount of time out there checking on things. The sun hits the front of the building in the late afternoon, making the staff room very bright. We keep a logbook by the door for everyone who comes in. It is a straightforward way of working.
