Vellore Cafe

You can find Vellore Cafe right across from the Ibaco on Anna Salai. We are at number 8 in the Sasthri Nagar and Krishna Nagar area. It’s a fairly busy spot because of all the other shops around us. We’ve been here for a bit, serving the local crowd. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for a few people to sit and have their tea or coffee. We have some snacks too, the kind people like to eat in the evening. The kitchen isn’t massive, but it does what it needs to do. Most of our regulars come from the nearby houses in Krishna Nagar. They stop by on their way home or while running errands. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or lights. It's just a simple storefront with the name on top. Sometimes the chairs wobble a little bit, but nobody seems to mind much. We try to keep things clean, but on rainy days, people track in a lot of mud from Anna Salai. We just mop it up and keep going. It’s a friendly enough place where you can hear the latest neighborhood news if you listen closely. We aren't trying to win any awards or be the fanciest place in Vellore. We just want to serve a good cup of something hot. It’s a simple life running a cafe in this part of town and we appreciate the folks who visit.
