Our place, Timbe Windows Pvt. Ltd., is a bit out of the way in Melmanthangal Village. We are located at No : 3/2D2 on Elayanellore Road, near the Eb Substation. It’s quite peaceful out here compared to the city. You can see the fields nearby, and the air feels a bit different. Being near the substation makes it easy to give people directions. We have a decent amount of space in our facility because we need the room for all the window frames and glass we handle. The roads around Kugayanellore Post can be a bit bumpy, especially after the monsoon, but we’ve gotten used to the drive. Most of our workers come from the local villages around Thiruvalam. We aren't a big corporate office with glass walls; we are more of a workshop where things actually get built. The shed gets pretty hot in the summer, but we keep the doors wide open for the breeze. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and making sure everything fits together right. It's a lot of manual work and we don't mind getting our hands dirty. Sometimes the power goes out, which is ironic being so close to the substation, but we just wait it out or work on things that don't need machines. It’s a quiet, steady life out here on Elayanellore Road. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
