Down here in Sripuram, the days go by a bit differently than they do in the big cities like Chennai. Sri Sakthi Amma Healthcare Trust is based in Thirumalaikodi, right in the heart of Vellore. We’ve been operating from this part of Tamil Nadu for a long time. Our address is 632055, and people from all over the district know where to find us. It’s a lot of work running a trust like this. We have a lot of paperwork to deal with and many people come through our doors every single day. Some are looking for help, and others are just checking in on the community work. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don’t have a lot of time for sitting around in meetings. Instead, we’re usually out on the floor or talking to families.
