Swiss Tourism & Hotel Management College

Our college is situated at No 37 Hotel Mount Paradise, right on the New Bypass Road in Sathuvacheri, Vellore. It’s a bit of a unique setup being part of the hotel building. You can see the traffic moving fast on the bypass while students are inside learning how to manage hotels and tourism. We have classrooms where we talk about the industry, and then there are practical areas where people practice service. It smells like coffee or food sometimes because of the kitchen work. The students come from all over, wearing their uniforms and trying to look professional. It’s a busy place because the hotel is right there too. We don't have a big fancy campus with rolling hills; we have a functional building where the work actually happens. The staff offices are usually full of schedules and brochures. It’s a practical way to learn because the students see real guests coming and going from the hotel. Vellore gets quite hot, so the air conditioning is usually running in the main rooms. We focus on the skills people need for jobs, nothing more. It’s a straightforward environment where the goal is to get the training done. The location is handy for anyone traveling along the bypass. We’ve been operating out of this hotel spot for some time now, keeping things simple and direct. It works for us and for the students who come here to study.
