Studio Black The Design Factory

You can find us on the first floor at No 19 on Filter-Bed Road in Vellore. Studio Black The Design Factory is based right in the Indian Bank Complex. It is a busy part of the bazaar area with a lot of noise. Most days, the sound of the market comes up through the windows. We are a small team and we spend most of our time at our desks working on plans. There are a lot of coffee cups and hard drives lying around our workspace. Designing things takes time and we do not like to rush the process. Vellore gets incredibly hot in the afternoons, so we are grateful for the shade in this building. We do not use any fancy marketing talk here. We just take an idea and try to make it work on paper or on the computer screen. The office is not very formal at all. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people to everyone who comes in. Being near the bazaar means there is always something happening outside. We have been working from this Filter-Bed Road spot for a good while now. It is a convenient place for people to drop by after they finish their banking or shopping nearby. We are just trying to do good design work without any of the usual corporate fluff that you see elsewhere these days.
