Staff

Our place is located on Second Street in Pudumanai, right here in Anaicut. It’s part of the Vellore district, and things are usually pretty steady around here. Being in a spot like this means we see a lot of the same faces every day. We handle things under the name Staff, which is pretty straightforward. M. Natarajan’s family has been around for a long time, so people know where to find us. The office isn't anything big, just a room where we keep the records and handle the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop by with questions about work or local matters. It gets quite hot in Vellore, so the fan is always running. We don’t really do fancy meetings. Usually, if someone needs something, they just walk in and we talk across the table. It’s a simple setup. We’ve got the post office nearby which makes things easier for sending out papers. Life in Anaicut moves at its own pace, and we just try to keep up with the work that needs doing. Sometimes it's busy, sometimes it's quiet, but there's always something to organize or a ledger to update. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing the job we have here on Second Street. It’s a local operation, and we like it that way. We've been at this for a while and don't plan on changing our routine anytime soon.
