Sri Lakshmi Narasimman Industries

Our place is at Sf-190/A on Ballumbakkam Main Road. Sri Lakshmi Narasimman Industries has been operating from here for a while. It’s more of a workshop than an office. We have heavy machines and there is always some kind of grease or metal smell in the air. We do various industrial jobs and it can get quite loud during the peak hours. The floor is concrete and we have to wear heavy shoes to stay safe. Most of us live nearby so the commute isn't too bad. We have a small area where we keep the paperwork, but it's usually covered in dust. The roof is corrugated metal, so it sounds like a drum when it rains. We take our tea breaks outside by the main gate where there's a bit of shade from a tree. It's hard work and your hands get dirty every single day. We don't really have visitors often, just the suppliers and the regular guys we work with. The yard has a few old parts sitting around that we might use someday. It’s a straightforward operation. We show up, do the work, and head home when the job is done. There isn't any fancy lobby or receptionist here. Just us and the machines on the main road. We keep things running as best as we can and don't make much of a fuss about it.
