At Sri Avs Beauty Clinic, we spend our days at No 68 Arcot Road. It’s right in the heart of Sathuvacheri, which is usually a pretty lively area. We’ve been running this beauty clinic for some time, and the routine is mostly the same every day. We open up, get the towels ready, and wait for people to drop by for whatever they need. Arcot Road is always full of cars and people walking by, so there’s never a dull moment if you look out the window. We aren't a big corporate chain or anything like that. It’s just us here in Sathuvacheri doing hair, skin stuff, and the usual beauty treatments. Sometimes the floor gets messy with hair or spilled water, and we have to clean up quickly before the next person comes in. We try to make the space feel okay for everyone, even though it’s just a standard shop layout. People from around the neighborhood know us well. We talk about the weather, the local news, and whatever else is going on while we work. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We don't have any fancy mission statements; we just show up and do the work that needs doing. It can get tiring standing on our feet all day, but that’s just the nature of the beauty business. We just take it one customer at a time and try to stay organized through the busy hours.
