Our place is on 9Bsannathi Thoppu Street in Nellorepet. Gudiyatham can get really hot, especially in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running full speed. The street outside is usually busy with people going about their business. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, and the neighbors are all familiar faces. It is a simple setup inside. We have a couple of large tables for spreading out the big drawings and a small area for making coffee. Most of the guys are local, so we speak a mix of Tamil and English while we work. We don't spend much on decorations because we are usually focused on the site reports and vendor lists. It feels like a real workshop sometimes, with people coming in with muddy boots after visiting a project. There is always a stack of newspapers on the side table that nobody ever finishes reading. We try to keep things moving along, but sometimes the paperwork takes longer than the actual building work. That is just how the industry goes around here. If you come by, you'll probably find us arguing over a measurement or checking the weather forecast. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls; it’s just a house converted into a workspace where we get things done at our own pace without any of that fancy modern stuff.
