Shree Narayan Hospital And Research Center

Down here in Thirumalaikodi, we run Shree Narayan Hospital And Research Center. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but we just think of it as the place where we work. We have different sections for patients and then some space where we look into more detailed medical stuff. It’s quieter out this way compared to the big city centers, which is actually quite nice for the people staying with us. We get a mix of people from the local area and some who travel from further out because they heard we have specific equipment. The building has been here for a while and we keep it running as best as we can. It’s not always perfectly quiet, as there is always some cleaning or maintenance going on. We have doctors who have been practicing for decades and some younger staff who are just starting out. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually find out about us from their neighbors or friends. We handle emergencies when they come in and do regular consultations throughout the day. The research side of things is mostly about looking at data and trying to understand health trends in this region. It’s a lot of paperwork and looking at screens. We just show up every day and do what the patients need. It's a plain building but we keep it functional for everyone.
