Shalom International Export And Import

You can find us at No. 2/47 J Soorangkuppm Medu. It’s an interesting name for a place, and it’s where we do all our export and import work. The name Shalom International sounds quite big, but we are actually a pretty small team working out of this one spot. We spend a lot of time checking on shipments and making sure the items are what they're supposed to be. It’s a lot of counting and double-checking. The office is usually filled with the smell of paper and maybe some coffee. We don’t have a lot of furniture, just the essentials like desks and a few chairs for visitors. The floor is concrete and we have some shelves against the back wall for all the files. It gets a bit noisy when the traffic picks up outside, but we’re used to it by now. We don't do much in the way of advertising because we're usually too busy with the actual logistics. If an order comes in late, one of us stays back to make sure it’s processed. We handle both things coming into the country and things going out. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes, trying to get everything to line up with the shipping dates. We don't pretend to be more than we are. We're just people in Soorangkuppm Medu trying to keep the trade moving smoothly every day. It is hard work but we are used to the routine.
