You can find Santha Exports over in Phase 2 of Sathuvachari. We are at number 1239, which is a fairly quiet part of the area compared to the main market. It’s mostly residential and small businesses around us, so it’s a bit more relaxed. We spend our days surrounded by boxes and packing tape. Exporting things means there is always a lot of weighing and labeling to do before the trucks arrive. The space is filled with stacks of crates waiting to go out. I usually have a list in my hand and a pen behind my ear, trying to keep track of what’s going where. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us on our toes. The building itself is just a standard structure, nothing that stands out from the street. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most of our neighbors are used to seeing the delivery vans backing into the driveway. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s time for a break just to catch a bit of a breeze. Sathuvachari is a good place to be, and being in Phase 2 means we have enough room to move things around without blocking the whole road. We aren't a huge corporation; it’s just a few of us making sure everything is packed right so nothing breaks on the long journey. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping an eye on the clock. We stay late most Fridays.
