This branch of Saag Rr Infra Ltd is situated in Valavanoor Village. To find us, you look for SO R.Vadivel at 195 Mettu Street. We are in the Arcot taluk of the Vellore district. It is a very rural setting for an infrastructure company, but that is where the work is. The office is basically part of the village life. People walk by and wave while we are sitting at our desks. It’s a very simple setup with a few computers and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We handle the local projects from here, mostly things that help the nearby villages. The commute for us is short since most of us live close by. We don't have a lot of visitors from the city, but we get plenty of local laborers and site foremen stopping in. The atmosphere is very relaxed. We don't follow a strict corporate dress code or anything like that. If it’s a hot day, we might take a longer break in the afternoon and work later when it’s cooler. We use a lot of local knowledge to get our jobs done. There is a lot of mud on our boots most of the time. We are just a part of the landscape here, doing our bit to build up the local infrastructure piece by piece. We have some old maps of the Vellore district on the walls to help us plan. It feels like home to us.
