You can find S S Fashion right on the 38/48 stretch of the Vellore to Chittoor Road. We are located in the Gandhinagar area, not far from the Milinum Plaza. Because we are on such a main road, there’s a constant stream of cars and buses going by. It makes the place feel very alive. The shop isn’t massive, but it’s ours. We have racks and shelves lining the walls to hold all the different items we have. The floor is tiled, and we try to keep it clean despite all the foot traffic. Sometimes the sun hits the front glass just right and it gets quite warm inside. We have a few fans that stay on all day long. It’s a family-run feel here, even if we are focused on the business. We know the other shop owners nearby, and we often share a bit of news when things are quiet. Being near the plaza means people often wander in while they’re out doing other errands. We keep the counters tidy, or at least we try to. There’s always a list of things to do, from checking the new arrivals to making sure the hangers are straight. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s a good one. We just do our work and hope the day goes smoothly for everyone who comes through the door. Usually, we lock up around eight and start all over again the next day.
