We’re civil engineers working out of Vaishali in Bihar. Our location is in the 844 101 area, which is a fairly quiet spot compared to the big cities. We don’t have a massive team or a glass-fronted office building. It’s just a handful of us who know about building things and making sure they don’t fall down. Most of our time isn't spent in the office anyway. We are usually out on site, looking at dirt or checking how the concrete is being poured. Infrastructure work in this part of India can be a challenge. The logistics aren't always easy and sometimes materials show up late. That’s just the reality of the job. We don't have a fancy marketing team to write about how great we are. We just focus on the plans in front of us. If you come by the office, you might find us drinking tea and arguing over a drawing. It’s how we solve problems. We’ve been doing this for several years now. We know the local terrain and the quirks of working in Vaishali. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles. We just need a good set of plans and a bit of decent weather to get the work finished.
