Rm Medical Center & Hospital

We are located at No. 286/176 on Vellore Road. Being in Katpadi, we see a lot of people passing through all the time. Rm Medical Center & Hospital is a place where things are always happening and moving. The staff is usually running around from one floor to another. We have a lot of different departments tucked into the building, so it can be a maze for some. It is not the newest place around, but it is solid and reliable for the community. The hallways can be a bit narrow when we are moving equipment. We spend our days dealing with various health issues and a whole lot of questions from worried families. People come in from the surrounding villages because Katpadi is easy to reach. Vellore Road is always busy, so there is a constant sound of horns and engines outside. We have grown accustomed to the noise over the years. The hospital has a lot of history in this part of town. We are not big on flashy signs or marketing ourselves. We just let the daily work speak for itself. Sometimes we run out of chairs in the waiting room when it is really crowded on Monday mornings. We just try to stay patient with everyone. It is a real community effort here. We have a few nurses who have been with us for twenty years. They know everyone by name.
