Lucky Textiles

We are Lucky Textiles at No. 34 Cm John Street Senguttai Katpadi. It's a small place but we keep busy with all the fabric coming in and out every day. The street gets pretty crowded during the mornings especially when the delivery trucks try to squeeze in. We’ve been here for a while now and most of the locals know where to find us. It isn't anything fancy, just a lot of shelves filled with rolls of cloth and the sound of the fans humming in the background. My desk is usually covered in samples and bits of thread that never seem to go away. We spend most of our time checking the quality of the materials that come through the door because nobody wants stuff that falls apart. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to move things around but we manage to get it done. It's just a regular workplace where people show up, do their shift, and head home. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just the shop floor and a small back room for tea breaks. People stop by to look at colors or ask about prices and we just try to keep things moving. Most days are long but that’s how it goes when you’re running a business in Katpadi. There is always something to fold or a new shipment to sort through before the sun goes down.
