Mr Hospital

Mr Hospital has been sitting here in Sham Town, Vellore, for a good number of years. It’s a familiar sight for anyone living around this part of the city. We aren’t one of those giant medical centers that feel like a maze. It’s more of a straightforward place where you can find your way around without getting lost. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so there’s a lot of local talk in the hallways. We see people for all sorts of reasons, from minor scrapes to things that need a bit more attention. The building itself has its own character, maybe showing its age in a few spots, but it works for what we need. Mornings are usually the loudest time with everyone arriving at once. We handle the paperwork, see the patients, and keep the equipment going. It’s a lot of routine, honestly. You get to know the regulars who come in for their check-ups. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, but we’ve got our ways of managing. It’s just life in Vellore. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. The floors are clean, the beds are ready, and we just keep doing the same work we’ve been doing since we opened. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know and what we are used to. The town keeps moving and we just stay right here.
