Mohan Store

Started on Gudiyatham Road a while back. It’s a small place in Marlabanda. We open early when the sun is just coming up. The door makes a little creak. Most of what you see here are things people need every day. Soap, some tea leaves, maybe some snacks for the kids. People stop by on their way to work or when they realize they ran out of sugar mid-cooking. It’s not a fancy place at all. The shelves are wooden and some are a bit old now. We spend most of the day just rearranging things or talking to the neighbors. Marlabanda is a quiet enough spot but the road gets some traffic. Sometimes it gets dusty. We just keep a fan going and wait for the next person to walk in. There isn't a huge team here, just a couple of us making sure everything is in its place. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. If someone needs something specific and we don't have it, we try to remember to get it for next time. It’s just a regular shop doing regular things. Nothing more to it really. The address is 26-9-21 and we’ve been here long enough that most people don't even need the number to find us. Just look for the sign near the corner.
