Mitra Cars

Our place is at 45, Throwpathi Amman Koil Street in Perumugai. It is a bit of a busy spot because of the temple nearby. People are always walking past, especially on festival days when the whole street gets packed. Mitra Cars has been operating from this small space for some time. We spend most of our mornings cleaning the dust off the cars because the road gets quite a bit of traffic. It is mostly just a few of us here working. We don't have a big fancy showroom with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a practical setup where we can talk to people who stop by. Sometimes people just come in to ask for directions to the main road. The weather here in Perumugai can be quite tough in the summer, so we spend a lot of time under the shade. We just try to get through the work day and handle the vehicles that come in. There is a small tea shop just down the road where we usually go in the afternoon. It is nothing special, just a regular local business trying to keep things moving. We know most of the shop owners on this street. It feels like a small community even though it's quite busy. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we first opened up shop here. It stays pretty noisy until late. We just keep doing what we do every day.
