If you are looking for us, Maruthi Plywood & Hardware is at 9/5 Katpadi Road, right on Dharamaraja Koil Street. It’s a busy area with a lot of foot traffic. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of things. We have sheets of plywood stacked up and rows of bins filled with screws, hinges, and other hardware. It can be a bit hard to find things sometimes if you don't know where to look, but we know where everything is hidden. The smell of cut wood is always in the air here. We get a lot of carpenters coming in early in the morning to pick up supplies for their daily jobs. It’s a small place but we try to keep a bit of everything in stock. We don't do fancy displays or have air conditioning. It’s just a regular hardware store where you can come in and ask for what you need. Dharamaraja Koil Street is a lively place to work. We talk to our neighbors and help the customers who are often confused about what size of bolt or wood they need. We just try to be helpful and get them the right stuff. Life here is busy, especially on the weekends. We just keep stacking the wood and counting the hardware, making sure we have what people ask for.
