Sri Engineering Works Dnt Touch is right on the Main Road. You can’t really miss us if you’re driving through. The name might sound a bit funny to some, but it's just what we call it. It's a busy workshop where there is always some kind of metal being cut or welded. We have a lot of old machines that still work perfectly fine, so we keep using them. The floor is usually covered in some dust or scraps, but we sweep up at the end of every day. It’s a loud place to work, especially when the heavy equipment is running. We don’t have an office with carpets or anything like that. Most of the talking happens standing up on the shop floor. We’ve been here for years and the Main Road has definitely gotten busier over time. There's always a lot of dust from the traffic, so we keep the doors open to get a breeze. We do all sorts of repair and fabrication jobs. People bring us things that are broken and we try to get them back in working order. We aren't trying to be a massive factory. We like being a small shop where we can see everything that’s going on. Sometimes we have a lot of work and other times it’s a bit slower, but that’s just how it goes with engineering and physical labor in a place like this.
