Vellore Internationals

Vellore Internationals is over at No.- 113 Thiruvalluvar St. in the Dharapadavedu area of Katpadi. It’s a busy street most of the time. We have been here for a good while. The building isn't new but it works for what we need. We spend most of our day dealing with the paperwork and the boxes that come in. It’s mostly family running the place. We know the postman by name because he comes by every single day at the same time. The sign outside is a little faded from the sun and the rain. Katpadi has a lot of traffic, especially near the station. Sometimes the noise from the street gets loud in the office. We just keep the door shut and carry on. We started this because we needed a way to work for ourselves. It’s not a huge operation. We have a few desks and a lot of files stacked up. My cousin helps out with the phone calls and the emails. We don't really do much advertising around here. People usually hear about us from someone else in town or through word of mouth. The street has changed since we first moved in. There are more shops now than there used to be. We try to keep the place tidy but it gets cluttered with all the shipping documents. That's just how it goes when you're busy. We stay until the work is finished, even if it's late. It’s just how we run things in this office and we are used to the routine.
