Kalai Bharathi Garment Private Limited is located at 214 Walaja Road in Padmapuram. It’s a straightforward building where we do all our sewing and packing. We aren’t located in a big industrial park, just a regular spot on the main Walaja Road. Inside, you will find rows of machines and a lot of people working hard from morning till evening. We don't have any corporate branding or fancy offices for meetings. The walls are plain, and the focus is entirely on the garments we are making. We spend our days dealing with different types of cloth and making sure the stitches are strong and straight. The noise of the machines is something you just get used to after a few days of being here. Our team is made up of local people from around Padmapuram who know their way around a sewing needle and a cutting table. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on the road outside, but we manage to stay on schedule. We take our breaks together and talk about our families or what's happening in town. It’s a very human way of working. There is no middle management here, just us doing the actual labor with our hands. We keep our tools organized on old wooden shelves, though things get a bit messy during a particularly busy shift. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now and know all the shopkeepers nearby. It’s just a place where we put in our hours and do an honest day's work.
