Janani Sri Earth Movers

Janani Sri Earth Movers is located at number 30, right by the Mulai Gate. We are in the Annai Kattu area, and our post comes through Vellangadu. It is a bit of an open area, which is necessary because the machines we use are quite large. We don't have a traditional office building. It is more of a yard with a small room for the records and keys. The ground is mostly dirt and gravel, which gets quite dusty during the dry months. When it rains, it becomes a bit of a muddy mess, but that is just part of the job when you work with earth movers. We are usually out here early in the morning to check the oil and fuel in the equipment. There is a lot of heavy lifting and grease involved in what we do. The neighbors around Mulai Gate are mostly quiet, though you can hear the machines from a distance when they are running. We don't have any big marketing slogans or colorful brochures. Most of the people who need our help just know where to find us or they hear about us from someone else in the village. It is honest, physical work that keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. Sometimes we sit by the gate in the evening and just watch the traffic go by on the main road. It is a simple way of living and working in this part of the country.
