Our place is at 593, Tharapadavedu in Katpadi. J P L Agency isn't some high-rise office with glass walls. It’s a solid, straightforward building where we handle our daily business. We mostly deal with distribution and making sure orders get to where they need to go. The area around Tharapadavedu is fairly quiet compared to the main city center, which we actually prefer. We have a lot of shelves and a bit of a storage area in the back that always seems to be full of something. Katpadi has a lot of movement because of the railway nearby, so we are used to seeing people coming and going. Our team is small, and we’ve all been working together for quite some time now. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or expensive furniture. We'd rather just have good chairs and a working phone line. Some days we have more work than we can handle, and other days we find ourselves cleaning up and organizing the files. It is a very normal way to run things. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide what our customers need and keep the lights on. It’s a practical life, and we are happy to be doing it here in our little corner of Katpadi. There is always a lot of tea drinking and talking about the news during our afternoon break time.
