Hotel Abu Palace

Hotel Abu Palace sits right at 926, Poonamalle High Road. This road is one of the busiest in the whole city, so there is constant traffic and noise right outside our front doors. It’s a big building, and we’ve been here for a long time now. Inside, it’s a lot calmer than the street, though the lobby can get pretty packed when a big group arrives or when there’s an event in one of the halls. The staff here is used to the rush. We spend our days checking people in, making sure the rooms are cleaned, and dealing with whatever problems come up, like a leaky tap or a guest who lost their key. The carpets are a bit older and the elevators have their moods, but we try to keep everything running as smooth as we can. It’s a lot of work keeping a place this size going 24 hours a day. We have the restaurant downstairs which stays busy with people coming in for lunch from the nearby offices. It’s not a super modern boutique place with minimalist furniture; it’s more of a traditional hotel where you know what you’re getting. We see all kinds of travelers, from business people to families on holiday. It’s just a busy, functional hotel in a very central part of the city, and we just do our best to keep the guests happy.
