Heera Food

Heera Food is located at House No- 10/11 on Veerabhadra Swamy Koil Street. We are tucked right behind the temple, so we hear the bells every morning and evening. It’s a quiet enough street in Vellore, mostly residential but with a few of us running small businesses out of our houses or small units. We’ve been here for a long time, and most of the neighbors know us well. We don’t really have a big storefront with neon signs. It’s more of a home-based operation that grew a bit over the years. We spend our days preparing food items, and the kitchen is always the busiest part of the house. Sometimes the smell of spices drifts out onto the street. We don’t use any big marketing teams or anything like that. We just make what we make and people come by to pick it up or we send it out. It’s a very local way of doing things. The Koil backside area has its own pace of life, and we fit right into it. Working from this street feels right because it’s where we live too. We handle everything ourselves, from buying the ingredients to packing them up. It’s a lot of work, and some days are longer than others, but being near the temple gives the place a peaceful feeling even when we are rushing to finish an order. We just keep our heads down and cook.
