Greaves Cotton Ltd.

Greaves Cotton Ltd. has been operating out of No. 72 Sipcot Industrial Complex for a long time now. The gates open early every morning and the trucks start coming in shortly after. It gets quite loud around here with all the machinery running. Most of us have been working on these shop floors or in the small office for years. We do a lot of cotton work and it can get pretty dusty by the afternoon, but that is just the nature of the business. You can find us right in the heart of the industrial complex. It is definitely not a fancy place. We just focus on getting the daily orders out on time. Some days the heat in the main shed is a bit much, but we manage with the big fans. Coffee breaks usually happen near the main entrance where it is a bit cooler. People in the area know exactly where we are located. We do not change things much around here. The equipment is older but it still works fine and we keep it running well. There is a simple rhythm to the day that everyone follows. We mostly talk about the production schedule and who is doing what shift. Sometimes the rain makes the roads inside Sipcot a real mess. We still show up anyway. It is just how things go for us. We are not trying to impress anyone with a big glass building. It is just a place where honest work happens. If you walk past No. 72, you will see the crew moving things around.
