Ganadipathy Tulsi'S Engineering College

Ganadipathy Tulsi'S Engineering College is located in Kaniyambai, which is just outside Kancheepuram. Most people know Kancheepuram for its temples, but we are a bit further out where it’s quieter. The college has been around for several years and consists of a few large blocks. It’s a lot of concrete and stairs. I spend my days mostly in the admin office or checking on the classrooms. The students here are quite focused on their technical subjects. You see them huddled over books in the corridors or working in the electrical labs. It gets very hot here, so we try to keep the windows open for whatever breeze we can get. The canteen is a popular spot for a quick tea or some rice. We don't have any fancy cafes or lounges. It’s just a place for learning and working. Most of the staff live nearby or take the college bus from Kancheepuram. We know the local shopkeepers and the people who live in Kaniyambai. It’s a small community. We don't go in for big, polished presentations about what we do. We just open the gates in the morning, conduct the classes, and make sure the labs are locked up at night. It’s a straightforward engineering college. There are always some repairs going on, like a leaky pipe or a broken desk, but we just handle it. It’s just a regular part of life at Ganadipathy Tulsi'S. Everyone just does their part.
