Designation

We are at No. 235 on Kovil Street, in a place called Vasathanadai near Vellore. It’s under the Vellandaram Post. The business is connected to the family, specifically V. Lakshmanan’s son. We aren't a big corporation from some city far away. We’re local through and through. Designation is just our way of working together in this community. It’s a quiet street for the most part, except when there’s a festival at the temple nearby. We have a simple room where we keep all our stuff and do our daily tasks. It’s not much to look at, but it’s where we get things done. We don't have a lot of rules here. We just know what needs to happen and we do it. We spend time talking to our neighbors and helping out when we can. It’s more than just a job for us. It’s our life here. We don’t use fancy software or have big meetings in boardrooms. We just talk things over and get to work. Sometimes we have to deal with the intense heat, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. We’ve been here for many years and hope to stay for many more. We just take things one day at a time. It’s a good way to live and work without too much stress. We aren't trying to be famous. We just want to be reliable for the people who know us. That’s enough for a day’s work.
