Chellam Kranes

We've been operating Chellam Kranes for a while now from our spot at the S.A.H Complex. It's right on the New By Pass Road at No. 1/1. Most days you'll see our equipment moving in and out of the yard. It gets pretty busy with all the traffic coming off the main road, but we manage just fine. People know where to find us because the complex is hard to miss. We mostly handle heavy lifting jobs around here. It's the kind of work that doesn't leave much room for mistakes, so we just stay focused on the task at hand. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but that is just part of working outdoors with cranes. We keep our gear parked and maintained at the shop. The yard isn't fancy, just a practical place to get things organized. Most of the crew lives nearby, so we're usually here early in the morning before the bypass gets too crowded. Dealing with heavy machinery means there is always something to grease or a part to check on. It's steady work. We don't do much talking, mostly just getting the rigs out to where they need to be. If you drive past No. 1/1, you can usually see us working on something or prepping for a big haul. It’s a decent spot for the business. The neighbors are used to the noise by now. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
