Apollo Kh Hospital

Apollo Kh Hospital is located right on the Ranipet-Vellore Bypass Road in Melvisharam. Being at No. 102 means we are right where all the trucks and cars fly by. You can hear the constant sound of engines and horns if you stand near the entrance. It’s a very practical location for people who are traveling between cities. We get a lot of emergency cases because of the highway, so the pace can go from zero to a hundred very quickly. One minute the lobby is empty, and the next, it’s chaos. The building itself is sturdy and does its job. Inside, it’s much cooler than it is outside in the sun. We have a lot of local staff from Melvisharam and Vellore who commute here every day. We know each other well and usually spend our breaks talking about local news or what we’re having for dinner. It’s a hard-working atmosphere. There’s no time for fluff or polished speeches. We just deal with what comes through the door. The floors are hard tile and they’ve seen a lot of wear over the years. We keep them clean, but you can see the history of the place in the scuffs. It’s a straightforward hospital. We have the equipment we need and we do our shifts. It’s not a destination, it’s a place people come to when they have no other choice, and we respect that. We just keep our heads down and work.
