Anjali Ice Cream & Snacks

Our place is at 4/528 A on Rto Office Road. Being in Sathuvacheri, we get a lot of people who are heading to the RTO office to deal with their licenses or vehicle paperwork. They usually look a bit tired or stressed, so they stop in for a snack or something cold. We have a bit of everything here, not just the ice cream. It’s a small space, and it can get a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the shop. We have a small fan that runs all day, but it only does so much. The shelves are usually packed with different snacks. We don't really have a system for where things go; we just put them where they fit. It’s a bit of a family-run feel. We’ve been at this address for a while. The road outside is busy during office hours and then gets quiet once the RTO closes for the day. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and maybe a clock that's a few minutes fast. It’s an honest little shop. We just try to keep the snacks fresh and the ice cream frozen. It’s not much, but it’s what we do. People seem to appreciate having a place to sit for a minute before they head back out into the heat. We just keep the door open.
