Self Help Association For Rural Education & Employment

Our organization, the Self Help Association For Rural Education & Employment, is based out of a small place at #2 Mettupalayam. It is not a big office complex or anything like that. It is just a simple building where we get together to work on things. Mettupalayam is a nice area, and being at number two makes us fairly easy to locate. We focus mostly on education and helping people find work in the rural parts around us. The building is pretty modest, with just the basic furniture we need to get our tasks done. We do not have any corporate branding or expensive signage. Most people in the community know us by word of mouth. On a typical day, you might find a few of us sitting around a table planning out a new project or talking to a local resident. The pace here is a bit slower than in the big cities, which suits the kind of work we do. We like being part of the rural landscape and staying close to the people we are trying to help. It is an honest operation where everyone chips in. We do not use big words or complicated plans. We just look at what needs doing and try to find a way to make it happen with the resources we have. It is just us, working out of a quiet spot in Mettupalayam for a long time.
