Sri Visweswara Hi-Tech Nursery

Sri Visweswara Hi-Tech Nursery is out here in Kadiyapu Lanka. It is a quiet place mostly, unless there is a lot of loading going on. We spend our days mostly in the mud and the sun. There are a lot of bags of soil to move. Some people think a nursery is just looking at flowers, but it is mostly watering and checking for bugs. The weather here in Kadiyapu Lanka is good for the plants, though sometimes the humidity is a bit much for us. We have been at this for a while. Usually, the morning starts around six when the sun is just coming up. That is the best time to get the watering done before it gets too hot to move. The rows of saplings go on for a bit. It’s hard work on the back, bending over all day. We use a lot of plastic bags and pots. Sometimes the trucks arrive late and we have to stay until dark to get everything packed. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all know each other well. We don't have fancy offices or anything like that. Just a small desk and a lot of outdoor space. If you come by, you will probably find us near the back rows. There isn't much shade except under the green nets. We just keep busy with the plants and the dirt.
