We are based out of Nagapattinam and have been doing building work around here for quite some time. It’s a busy place, and there is always something that needs fixing or putting up. We don't really do anything fancy; we just stick to what we know about construction and getting walls to stand straight. Most of the time, we’re out on a site somewhere getting our hands dirty with bricks and cement. It can get pretty hot working outside in Nagapattinam, especially in the afternoons, but we just get on with it. We have a small team, and we’ve all worked together long enough that we don’t need to say much to get things done. Sometimes we are working on a small house, other times it might be something a bit bigger, but the process is basically the same every time. You start at the bottom and work your way up until it’s finished. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. We mostly just meet people at the sites or talk over the phone while we’re driving. It’s a bit of a hectic life sometimes, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate or supplies are late getting delivered. But that's just how the building trade works, I suppose. We like being part of the community here and seeing the town grow bit by bit. There is usually plenty to do and not enough hours in the day to get it all done.
