Paras Auto Link is located at C-28/29 at the RTO Relocation Site in Kutch. We’re near Vbc Wadi, which is a bit of a landmark for people trying to find us. This part of Gujarat is quite open and the landscape is pretty dry, which means things get dusty very quickly around the shop. Being near the RTO site means there are always vehicles moving around, from heavy trucks to smaller cars. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a couple of units where we keep our tools and parts, and a small area where we handle the paperwork. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. Most of our day is spent outside or in the open bays, so we’re very much at the mercy of the weather. When the wind picks up, you can really feel the grit in the air. We don’t really have a formal way of doing things; we just handle whatever comes in as it arrives. It’s a lot of physical work and staying on your feet for most of the shift. We know most of the drivers and other business owners in this relocation site, so there’s a lot of nodding and waving as people pass by. It’s a simple life out here, away from the main city buzz, and we just focus on keeping our small corner of the site running as best as we can.
