M.D.L.R. Airlines has a presence right at Dabolim Airport in Goa. You can usually find the security side of things being handled by Amarjeet Singh, who stays on top of what is happening. Being based at an airport means things are always loud and moving. There are planes taking off and landing all day, and the humidity in Goa is something we just deal with. Our space is not a luxury lounge; it is a functional area for security and operations. We spend a lot of time on our feet or checking schedules. It is a different kind of job being at the airport compared to a city office. We have to be there early and sometimes stay very late depending on the flights. Amarjeet keeps a close eye on everything to make sure the routine is followed. The office is tucked away in the airport complex, filled with the smell of jet fuel and the sound of trolleys. We do not have time for fancy decorations or long meetings. It is all about the immediate task at hand. The Goa sun can be tough, but the sea breeze helps a little bit. We are just a group of people making sure the airline's ground interests are looked after. It is practical work that does not stop for holidays or weekends. We just keep the wheels turning behind the scenes as best as we can every day. It is not glamorous, but it is necessary.
