Wood N Gift

If you are ever in Nalasopara West, you might see the Wafa Building. That is where we are. Wood N Gift is a small operation. We work with wood, making various items and gifts. The smell of sawdust is pretty much everywhere in our workspace. It is a bit messy, but that is how it goes when you are cutting and sanding things all day long. We started this in Palghar because it is where we live. We do not have a big factory. It is more of a workshop where a few of us sit and put things together. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or work by the window light. Our tools are old but they still work fine. We do not use any high-tech machinery. Most things are done by hand or with simple electric saws. We have a lot of scrap wood piled up in the corner. We try to use as much of it as we can for smaller projects. It is a quiet life for the most part. We do not have a big sign outside, just a small one on the door. People from the neighborhood stop by to see what we are making. We do not have a fancy catalog. If you want to see something, you just have to come in and look at the shelves. It is simple, honest work that keeps us busy. We like the wood grain patterns.
